Igoh Ogbu has signed a one-year contract extension with Slavia Prague, committing his future to the Czech club until the end of 2027.
The 25-year-old Nigerian defender joined Slavia in January 2023 from Norwegian side Lillestrøm and quickly cemented his place at the heart of the team’s backline.
Since his arrival, Ogbu has established himself as one of Slavia’s most reliable performers, delivering consistent displays that have made him an indispensable figure at Eden Arena.
“The Nigerian central defender has signed a new contract at Eden until December 31, 2027, extending his contract by one year,” the club confirmed in an official statement.
Known for his strength, composure on the ball, and aerial dominance, Ogbu has made 92 appearances in all competitions for Slavia Prague to date, finding the net five times—an impressive tally for a central defender.
