Nigerian captain, William Troost-Ekong, is upbeat ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Rwanda.
The Super Eagles will take on Amavubi of Rwanda on Friday, March 21, in Round 5 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
As Nigeria looks to strengthen its campaign, Troost-Ekong and his teammates are focused on securing a vital victory over the Amavubi side.
The centre-back linked up with the squad at their Radisson Blu Hotel base on Tuesday morning and later took to social media to express the team’s readiness for the challenge ahead.
In his post on X, Williams Troost-Ekong rallied his Super Eagles teammates to work hard ahead of the Rwanda game.

The game between Rwanda and Nigeria is scheduled for 4pm kick off at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
The Super Eagles will need to win to improve chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
