Nigeria star striker, Victor Osimhen, is reportedly eager to complete a move to Chelsea this summer, according to various reports.
The 26-year-old came close to joining the Premier League club last year, but the deal fell through, leading him to a season-long loan at Galatasaray instead.
Chelsea, however, are determined to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2025-26 season and are set to reignite their pursuit of Osimhen.
The West London club is keen on acquiring a proven centre forward, and the Nigerian international has emerged as a top target.
Osimhen, who has been in excellent form this season, has scored 28 goals and provided five assists in 32 appearances for Galatasaray. His performances have solidified his reputation as one of the top strikers in world football.
The striker has also attracted interest from Manchester United in recent weeks, with Ruben Amorim keen on adding a new forward to his squad.
However, sources indicate that Osimhen currently prefers a move to Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old will be available for a fee between €75-80 million, thanks to a release clause in his Napoli contract, and he is expected to leave the Serie A club permanently this summer.
While Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson has returned to full fitness after a two-month hamstring injury layoff, the club is still determined to add a new striker to their ranks, with Osimhen being a key target.
