Juventus have identified Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen as their top transfer target this summer, despite serious competition from Saudi giants Al Hilal.
The Napoli forward, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray and helped the Turkish side clinch the Super Lig title, is also attracting interest from Chelsea.
Al Hilal have reportedly tabled a lucrative offer worth €40 million per year to lure the 26-year-old to the Middle East.
Juventus are keen to secure Osimhen’s services but must first offload Dusan Vlahovic to create space in their squad.
However, Vlahovic is reluctant to join Turkish side Fenerbahce and is holding out for offers from top European clubs, with just a year remaining on his deal at the Allianz Stadium.
Osimhen has a €75 million release clause in his Napoli contract, but it does not apply to Serie A clubs.
As a result, Juventus will need to negotiate directly with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis to finalise any potential deal.
While the transfer remains complex, Osimhen is said to be open to a move to the Turin-based club.
However, the Super Eagles star is not expected to wait indefinitely and is likely to decide on his future by mid-July.
