Nigeria international Victor Okoh Boniface has grown frustrated after losing his starting role at Bayer Leverkusen in recent times.
The forward is no longer guaranteed a place in the team under manager Xabi Alonso and could depart the club at the end of the campaign.
Boniface started the 2024/2025 season on a high, scoring 14 goals in the German Bundesliga before succumbing to an injury in November 2024, halting his momentum.
The attacker has had limited playing time since returning from injury. He is yet to reclaim his regular starting role at the club.
During the winter transfer window, Boniface came close to joining Al Nassr, but the deal fell through. Now, Leverkusen is reportedly preparing for life without him.
Boniface remains a transfer target for several clubs heading to the summer window. The 25-year-old has 10 goals in 23 appearances this season and is being tracked by Premier League sides, with Al Nassr also expected to return with a new offer this summer.
Unless things change quickly, Boniface could be on his way out of Germany — with England or Saudi Arabia as potential destinations.
