Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has emerged as a transfer target for French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain.
The reigning Champions League holders are keen on bolstering their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign, with Osimhen appearing on the list of potential strikers.
With Osimhen set for a permanent departure from Napoli, a chunk of clubs including Galatasaray and Al Hilal have expressed keen interest in the attacker.
However, Paris Saint Germain is said to have join the pursue of the Nigeria attacker in an attempt to strengthen their attacker next campaign.
The French club is considering several attacking options to bolster their ranks, including Osimhen and AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
Saudi club Al Hilal is hoping to exploit the stalled negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray regarding the Osimhen deal to quickly intervene and secure the player to bolster its attack before the start of the new season.
Osimhen had previously rejected several offers from Al-Hilal, preferring to stay in Europe and continue his career among the continent’s elite.
The forward spent last season on loan at Galatasaray and performed admirably for the club. He made 41 appearances across all competitions, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists.
