Nigeria international Victor Okoh Boniface has paid a touching tribute to his late mother, who passed away in 2023.
Boniface, who plies his trade for Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen took to social media to remember his late mother.
This is not the first time Boniface is expressing his affection for his late mother. In April 2024, he commissioned custom jewelry worth approximately £10 million, which included two diamond-encrusted chains with pendants.
One pendant features an image of his mother alongside his siblings, while the other bears the inscription, “Keep resting, Mama.”
Boniface is known for his strong family ties. He shares a special bond with his grandmother, who played a significant role in his upbringing. His grandmother has even attended Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga matches, cheering him on from the stands.
Currently, the Nigerian striker is surrounded by rumors about a breakup with his long-time girlfriend of four years. However, Boniface has not publicly addressed these reports.
