Fulham footballer Alex Iwobi has categorically stated that he would choose Nigerian musician, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known in the showbiz industry as Burna Boy for a feature over super star Wizkid.
Iwobi made this claim in an interview with Capital Xtra, where he answered a number of challenging questions, including how to choose between Burna Boy and Wizkid, two of Africa’s biggest music icons. They asked the Nigerian who he would like to work with.The Fulham star took a long pause to a make a decision which he eventually chose Burna Boy
He hesitated for a long moment before selecting Burna Boy. Many were taken aback by this decision, considering Wizkid’s international renown and partnerships with well-known musicians.
Burna Boy, meantime, is still becoming more and more well-known throughout the world because to his afro-fusion sound. He is a significant character in current African music because of his masterful fusion of dancehall, reggae, afrobeat, and American rap.
It is important to note that Alex Iwobi is well-known for his musical pursuits. The football player recently collaborated with British rapper Ramz and Nigerian artist ODUMODUBLVCK to make the song Hop Out. The Fulham and Nigerian national team player had already published a number of other songs.
Iwobi recently announced the release of his new rap single titled ‘Hop Out’, collaborating with Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and British artist Ramz. It is worth noting that this track marks the fifth in the Nigerian’s musical career.
