The results raised eyebrows, and the Nigerian football federation expressed indignation, deeming the scores “totally unacceptable.” Mohammed Sanusi, in charge of competitions at the NFF, mentioned that the amateur league council would make a decision soon. Tanko Maiyaki, the football coordinator in Bauchi region, announced the immediate cancellation of all results pending further investigation.
