Former Nigerian international Augustin Jay-Jay Okocha is venturing into the film industry, producing a movie about Nigerian reggae star Majek Fashek. The film is currently in the pre-production phase, and the lead role will be played by actor Francis Duru. Majek Fashek gained fame for his album “Spirit of Love” and his cover of “Hotel California” by the Eagles. Okocha, a former football star who won the 1994 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria and played for clubs like PSG, Fenerbahçe, and Bolton Wanderers, is now expanding his career into the world of cinema.
