Nigeria international Terem Moffi is set to make his first appearance in 240-days for Nice U-23 when they take on Brighton U-23 team on Wednesday.
Moffi has been sidelined since July 2023 after picking up an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, missing 37 matches.
The injury came as a huge setback for the talented Nigeria international, having scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 30 games from the previous season. He drew interest from several European teams including Roma and West Ham.
The 25-year-old resumed light training in early March and has been steadily working his way back to full fitness.
With Nice confirming his return to full scale training, the Nigeria forward is expected to mark his return on Wednesday in a low profile match.
Given the severity of his injury, Nice will take a cautious approach, likely easing him back with minutes in the reserve team before a full return to first-team action.
