Nigeria international Christantus Uche is expected to depart Premier League outfit Crystal Palace ahead of the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old forward, on loan from Spanish outfit, Getafe has yet to make any appearance for the Eagles this season, undermining a potential permanent acquisition.

As stipulated in the loan agreement, the Premier League club would only secure the services of the Nigerian international on a permanent deal after 10 starts, but Uche remains on the bench.

While Crystal Palace are reportedly considering ending the loan, Getafe are said to be ready to welcome the attacker back to the club in January. Meanwhile, the forward could remain in the Premier League, with several clubs expressing interest in him.

The Nigerian striker is reportedly on Leeds United’s radar, who are interested in signing Uche during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old striker has made three appearances for the Nigerian national team since making his debut early 2025.
