Nigeria international Stanley Nwabali is expected to depart South African club, Chippa United at the end of the season, Africasoccer.com can report.
Nwabali joined Chippa United in 2022 and has since established himself as a key member of the squad. The 28-year-old has spent entire career on the African continent, featuring for Enyimba FC, Wikki Tourists, Lobi Stars and others.
The enterprising shot stopper, who departed Nigeria to join Chippa United in October 2022 is now set to exit the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to reports, Nwabali has emerged as a top transfer target for other clubs as the transfer window approaches.
Meanwhile, it is certain that Chippa United will benefit financially from the departure of the Nigeria international.
In the current season, Stanley Nwabali has played 19 games for his team, including 7 clean sheets.
Chippa United is in ninth place in the South African Premier League table. However, the team has conceded only 17 goals – the fourth-best defensive record in the division.
