Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel is focused on Fenerbahce despite speculations about his future at the club.

The 27-year-old defender, whose contract expires in June 2025 has yet to sign a new deal with the Turkish giants, sparking numerous speculations about his future amid interest from English clubs.

Osayi-Samuel was in action when Fenerbahce traveled to defeat Sivasspor 3-1 in the Turkish top-flight on Sunday.

Speaking after the match, the enterprising right-back disclosed he is focused on the Championship amid rumours about a possible departure in summer.

“My Only Focus Is the Championship. It’s hard to comment on this situation. Many people act as if they know the subject! I play for Fenerbahçe and I am very happy about it.”

“It was said that a contract had been signed and that I hadn’t accepted it, but that’s not the case. I have an excellent dialogue with the president. My only concern at the moment is the championship.”

“We will meet our president after the season to see what happens.” He concluded.

The Nigeria international has made 19 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season, serving two assists for the club.
