Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze is a major doubt for AC Milan’s clash against Juventus in the Italian Super Cup.
The former Villarreal star sustained a hamstring injury in his outfit game against AS Roma at the San Siro and is expected to spend time on the sidelines.
Chukwueze was replaced in the 62nd minute by England international Tammy Abraham.
His injury comes as a huge blow for AC Milan as they prepare for the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.
The Nigeria international is likely to miss the semifinals clash with Juventus on Friday.
AC Milan will face either Inter Milan or Atalanta if they are able to edge out Roma in the semifinal.
The 25-year-old has made 22 appearances across competitions for AC Milan, scoring three goals and providing an assists.
