Moses Simon could be set to leave FC Nantes at the end of the season, with AS Roma reportedly showing interest in signing the Nigerian forward.
The 29-year-old, whose contract with the French club runs until June 2026, has been a standout performer this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 22 Ligue 1 appearances.
Simon joined Nantes in 2020 and has established himself as a key figure in the team’s attack.
However, with a desire for a new challenge, the Nigerian international is reportedly open to a move away from France after five years in Ligue 1.
According to reports from Africafoot, Serie A giants AS Roma are monitoring Simon’s situation closely, impressed by his pace and versatility on the wings.
Competition for his signature is expected to be fierce, with fellow French clubs OGC Nice and Olympique de Marseille also previously expressing interest in the player.
Despite the domestic interest, Simon is believed to favour a move to a different league, making Roma a more attractive option.
Valued at €12 million by Transfermarkt, FC Nantes are reportedly willing to part with the forward for around €6 million, potentially paving the way for a summer transfer.
Simon, who has also played for Gent and Levante, could soon embark on a new chapter in his career, with his future likely to be one of the key storylines in the upcoming transfer window.
