Nicolas Nkoulou, the central defender of Olympique de Marseille (OM), is currently in discussions with the club’s management regarding his contract. Nkoulou’s current contract with OM is set to expire in June 2015. According to José Anigo, the club’s sports director, negotiations are ongoing. Anigo also acknowledged that while they are open to keeping Nkoulou, the decision could be influenced by a significant offer from a top European club during the summer transfer window. The situation is not unique to Nkoulou, as it applies to other key players like Steve Mandanda.
