Nicolas Jackson opens up on advice from Sadio Mané before Bayern Munich move

Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson has revealed that he had a conversation with Sadio Mané before making the switch to German giants Bayern Munich.

In an interview, Jackson disclosed that he had several conversations with the former Bayern Munich forward who gave him advice on the transfer.

“Yes, of course. Sadio is not only a legend for Senegal, but also someone I admire greatly. He opened so many doors for us. We exchanged a few texts when we were discussing my transfer.

“He gave me his full support and told me that Bayern is a big family, with a winning culture. His advice was simple but effective: ‘Work hard, stay humble, and be yourself.’ – Coming from him, that means a lot,” Nicolas Jackson said.

Nicolas Jackson signed for Bayern Munich on loan from Chelsea in the summer window in a deal that would be made permanent at the end of the 2025/26 football season.

Just like Sadio Mané, Jackson will be hoping to win the German Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich during his time at the club.
