Nicolas Jackson won’t be making a move to Old Trafford anytime soon, despite Manchester United’s active hunt for a new striker.
The 23-year-old Chelsea forward, known for his pace and potential, has reportedly not made the shortlist of the Old Trafford side.
Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, has shown flashes of brilliance but struggled for consistency. Still, the idea of a switch to Manchester stirred speculation in recent weeks. Transfer insider Ben Jacobs, however, has poured cold water on the rumours.
Jacobs says “a lot would have to change” for United to even consider pursuing the Senegalese international. Sources close to the club have also downplayed any real interest, making it clear that Jackson is not a target at this time.
Manager Ruben Amorim is keen on strengthening his frontline, but financial limitations mean the club must offload players before bringing in new signings. For now, it seems United will look elsewhere as they continue their reshuffle in attack.
