Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson has been left out of the Chelsea squad for their pre-season friendly match against Bayer Leverkusen this evening.
The forward is one of several players left out of the matchday squad paraded by Blues manager Enzo Maresca.
The other players include Christopher Nkunku, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi and Renato Veiga.
For Nicolas Jackson, the decision to omit the Senegal forward from the Chelsea squad is because of his imminent departure from the club.
Manager Enzo Maresca is aware of this and is already preparing for life without the Teranga Lion.
It is understood that Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the forward.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have already signed replacements for the striker, having brought in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
