Nice linked with Borussia Monchengladbach winger Nathan Ngoumou

Cameroonian-French winger Nathan Ngoumou, currently at Borussia Monchengladbach, has been linked with a move to Nice.

The 26-year-old right winger joined Monchengladbach from Toulouse in August 2022 in a deal worth €8m and has since made 71 Bundesliga appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

Ngoumou began his senior career with Toulouse and helped the French club win the Ligue 2 title in the 2021-22 season before moving to Germany. He has also made seven DFB-Pokal appearances for Monchengladbach, contributing one goal and two assists.

The reported interest from Nice would represent a return to France for the Toulouse-born player, who holds both Cameroon and France nationalities. He is currently valued at €3.5m, below the €7m peak recorded during his career.

Ngoumou’s contract with Monchengladbach runs until 30 June 2027, meaning any move to the Ligue 1 club would need to be agreed before that deal expires. No transfer has been confirmed, with the Nice link remaining a rumour.
