South African defender Ngongca Anele, currently with RC Genk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, is attracting interest from Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus for a potential move next season.
“My manager informed me about the interest from a Greek club, but nothing concrete has been decided yet. Genk has also expressed their desire to retain me and will present an offer,” Anele said. He plans to make a decision after the upcoming match against Australia.
Having spent seven seasons with Racing Genk since joining in 2007, Anele is open to new challenges. “While I’m content at Genk, I’m looking for opportunities to play in a team that competes for trophies,” he added.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed success with Genk, winning a league title and two Belgian Cups during his tenure.
