Premier League club Newcastle United have shortlisted four players as a potential replacement for Swedish-Eritrean forward Alexander Isak.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Newcastle United ahead of the summer transfer window, with several top clubs including Barcelona expressing interest in the striker.

Newcastle United are struggling to keep hold of their main man and are now considering potential replacements for the forward.

At the moment, the Magpies are considering Liam Delap of Ipswich Town, Sporting CP strike Viktor Gyökeres, Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, and Samuel Omorodion of Porto as a potential replacement for in-demand Isak.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have slapped a hefty price tag well in excess of €100 million on Isak, who is still under contract at Newcastle until 2028,

The forward has scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 32 matches across all competitions so far this season.

Isak has made 50 appearances for the Sweden national team, scoring 15 goals since making his debut in 2017.
