English Premier League side Newcastle United will sanction Alexander Isak’s transfer for a fee of €170 million.
This is according to reports reaching Africasoccer from credible sources.
The Swedish striker with Eritrea roots has been a sensation for Newcastle in the English Premier League in the last two seasons.
He is currently regarded not only as one of the prolific forwards in the English Premier League but in all of Europe as well.
It is understood that Newcastle United are not interested in selling Alexander Isak. However, the club will consider an offer from any club that is willing to pay €170 million for the forward.
Isak is reportedly on the transfer list of Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The club recently came out of its financial mess and is looking at the possibility of bringing in reinforcements in the summer transfer window.
It is, however, not certain whether FC Barcelona will have €170 million to spend on Isak at the end of the season.
