Newcastle step up Fikayo Tomori pursuit after AC Milan reject opening bid

Newcastle United are ready to intensify negotiations with AC Milan for Fikayo Tomori after seeing their opening offer for the England defender rejected.

Eddie Howe’s side have identified the 28-year-old as a key target as they look to strengthen their defensive options, with talks expected to continue between the two clubs over a possible summer transfer.
