Loïc Rémy, on loan to Newcastle from Queens Park Rangers, continues to demonstrate his potential match after match, signaling his readiness to join a more ambitious team. His desire aligns with aiming for a club competing in the Champions League next season. Given this aspiration, it seems unlikely for him to return to QPR or remain with the Magpies. Harry Redknapp, QPR’s coach, is realistic about this prospect.
“I’ve been informed of his ambition to play in the Champions League next season. He’s performing admirably at Newcastle, and there’s interest from one or two major clubs. If there’s a release clause, he stands a good chance of leaving us. He’s a remarkable player, and in a bigger team, he could easily net 20 goals a season,” stated Redknapp, as reported by Metro.
With Arsenal and Tottenham both vying for his signature, Loïc Rémy’s release clause is set at 12 million euros.
