English outfits Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that both Jackson and Chelsea have agreed to part ways, with the Blues having already brought in new strikers and the player seeking a bigger role elsewhere.
“I’ve been telling you for weeks that Jackson could leave Chelsea. Now both sides agree it’s time for a split,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
Chelsea are said to value the 24-year-old at around £80 million, although no club has yet met that asking price.
Newcastle are understood to be particularly keen following failed moves for Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, both of whom ended up joining Chelsea. Tottenham’s interest could grow if Richarlison is sold, while Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Meanwhile, the director of sport at Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, has stressed that the club has no interest in signing Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson this summer.
