Moussa Sissoko Not Heading to PSG, Says Agent
Midweek transfer rumors suggested that Moussa Sissoko was on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain. However, both the player and PSG manager Laurent Blanc have denied the speculation. Now, Sissoko’s agent has stepped in to set the record straight.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, Bakari Sanogo, Sissoko’s representative, clarified the situation:
“Moussa signed a six-and-a-half-year contract with Newcastle United, so he still has four years remaining on that deal,” he said.
“We’re listening, of course. But right now, he’s focused on his club and the Premier League. The most important thing for him is to perform well and have a strong season. Everything else will come later.”
Sanogo also revealed that while “five or six clubs” have shown interest in the French international—including some from Ligue 1—no concrete offers have been made.
