Nigeria international Victor Osimhen is no longer a summer transfer target for Premier League giants Manchester United.
Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from Napoli in the summer, with several top clubs in Europe showing keen interest in the former Serie A goal king.
The Premier League giants are in the hunt for a new striker following their inconsistent performance, particularly in the Premier League.
Earlier reports suggested the Premier League outfit has reached an agreement to snap up the Nigeria star.
However, while names like Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap emerges as a summer transfer target for Manchester United, Victor Osimhen is not being considered by the club.
The Nigeria international joined Galatasaray last summer on season long loan, with his spell in Turkey set to come to an end in June 2025.
It is a dry loan with Galatasaray simply covering his salary from September until June at a cost of €10 million.
He has enjoyed a fantastic season with Galatasaray, scoring 29 goals in 34 games in all competitions.
Osimhen will return to Napoli at the end of the season and then leave the club permanently.
The 26-year-old has a release clause in his Napoli contract worth €75 million, for foreign clubs only.
