The Independent Electoral Commission of the Tunisian Football Federation made the following decisions:
Firstly, they decided to accept the list submitted by Mr. Maher Ben Issa after confirming its compliance with all the legal requirements.
Secondly, the Commission opted to defer the decision on the list submitted by Mr. Jalal Ben Taqiya, granting him an additional day under Article 8 of the Electoral Regulations of the Tunisian Football Federation.
This extension aims to allow him to complete the following documents:
- Submission of Identity Cards (number 3) for eight candidates.
- Presentation of endorsements from at least 15 associations eligible to vote, as stipulated in Article 28 of the Tunisian Football Federation’s statutes.
Similarly, the Commission postponed the verdict on the list submitted by Mr. Wisam Latif, providing him with an extra day during the administrative hours of the Tunisian Football Federation, also in adherence to Article 8 of the Electoral Regulations.
This delay is to facilitate the submission of the following documents:
- Provision of Identity Cards (number 3) for three candidates.
- Submission of evidence demonstrating that the certificates presented by one of the candidates are equivalent to a Baccalaureate degree and two years of higher education with success.
