Al Ahly’s Slovenian forward, Nejc Gradisar, is on track to feature in the highly anticipated showdown against Zamalek on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium.
Nejc Gradisar was forced off during Al Ahly’s 2-0 victory over Tala’ea El Gaish on Wednesday in the 17th round of the league due to muscle discomfort, raising concerns about his availability for the upcoming summit match.
A club source told Kooora: “The initial examination that Gradesh was subjected to proved his suffering from muscle stress.”
The source added, “Gradesh will be ready to participate in training naturally after tomorrow, Saturday, after the team gave rest today and tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Yasser Ibrahim has been declared fit for the crucial encounter, while Yahya Attia God is expected to gradually rejoin group training on Sunday. The final call on Yahya Atallah and Mohamed Magdy Afsha’s availability will be made on Monday, though their chances of featuring remain slim.
After 17 rounds, Pyramids lead the table with 42 points, followed by Al Ahly with 39, while Zamalek sits in third with 32 points.
