The management of Nasr Hussein Dey football club has issued a statement today, Monday, criticizing the decisions made by the disciplinary committee of the Professional League, labeling them as “arbitrary judgments.”
In the same statement, the Nasrawi administration affirmed that they have been subject to injustice by the refereeing body, whether in championship competitions or cup matches, asserting that the referee of the Nasr Hussein Dey vs. Chabab Ain Temouchent match was not impartial.
Furthermore, the Nasrawi management described the league’s silence regarding the club’s request for redress as “humiliating,” despite the team’s significant reputation in the national football scene.
The Disciplinary Committee has consistently ignored and refused to review any requests or files related to the team’s grievances, added the Nasrawi administration.
Expressing astonishment at the committee’s decision to penalize the team with a match behind closed doors after a single flare was thrown onto the field during a Cup match at the August 20 Stadium, allegedly by individuals not associated with the club, Nasr Hussein Dey lodged an official complaint with ample evidence demonstrating that the incident was not caused by the team’s supporters.
In a related context, the club’s management expressed dismay at the lack of response from any official body affiliated with the Algerian Football Federation to the team’s communications, despite being the primary financial supporter of the national team.
Should the team continue to face injustices in the future, they stated their intention to seek recourse through appropriate channels to reclaim their rights.
The Nasr Hussein Dey management concluded by asserting that the team is being targeted by unidentified entities seeking to undermine one of Algeria’s largest and most prestigious football institutions.
