Napoli have reportedly initiated talks with Anderlecht for Francis Amuzu, the Ghanaian-Belgian winger, with negotiations underway over a potential transfer fee.
The 25-year-old’s future is in the balance, as sources confirm that a Premier League club had also made inquiries earlier this transfer window.
Francis Amuzu’s market value is currently pegged at €4.5 million, according to Transfermarkt. The winger’s journey at Anderlecht began with a professional contract signed in August 2015, followed by a memorable debut in 2017 when he scored the winning goal in a 1–0 victory over K.A.S. Eupen.
His European debut came in 2018 against Spartak Trnava in the UEFA Europa League, and he soon became a mainstay in the team, reaching his 50th league appearance in 2019 against Sporting Charleroi. Francis Amuzu’s milestones continued with his 100th league appearance later on.
This season, he has featured in 18 league matches, contributing two goals and two assists, strengthening his reputation in Belgium’s top flight.
