SSC Napoli are reportedly open to selling Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to Liverpool.
The Italian giants are understood to have informed the English club that they will accept a swap deal offer for Victor Osimhen if Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa are both included in the proposal.
Liverpool have identified Victor Osimhen as a potential key signing ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Talks are believed to be ongoing between the two clubs, although Liverpool are reluctant to activate the striker’s €75 million release clause.
Italian outlet AreaNapoli claims that Napoli have presented Liverpool with an alternative route to completing the deal, which includes submitting a player-plus-cash offer rather than paying the full clause.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Darwin Nunez has already given his initial approval to a move to Napoli, with the Uruguayan forward edging closer to a departure from Anfield.
Despite Liverpool’s interest, the Super Eagles star is also attracting attention from other top clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
Currently, Al Hilal are leading the race for the signature of the Nigerian sensation.
