Ghanaian-Armenian right-back Nana Antwi is being linked with a move from Romanian side FCSB to Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem, according to transfer data compiled on 5 February 2026.
The 25-year-old defender, currently on loan at FC Hermannstadt from FCSB, is the subject of speculation over a switch to Ligat ha’Al, with the reported probability of a deal still listed as unknown. Transfermarkt data notes Antwi’s market value at €500,000, a figure likely to form the basis of any negotiations should Beitar decide to formalise their interest.
Antwi remains contracted to FCSB and is due back in Bucharest at the end of his loan spell with Hermannstadt, meaning a permanent exit or another move would need to be agreed with the Romanian champions. With no expiry date recorded on his current deal, there is also the longer-term possibility he could run down his agreement and become a free agent if no extension is signed, although there is no indication of that scenario at this stage.
The Accra-born full-back, who holds both Ghanaian and Armenian nationality, has built a steady profile in Eastern Europe. After leaving Young Wise FC in Ghana for FC Lori Vanadzor in Armenia in 2018, he earned a loan to LOSC Lille B in France before returning to Lori and later stepping up to FC Urartu Yerevan. His performances there preceded a move to FCSB in January 2024 and a subsequent loan to Hermannstadt in September 2024, both in Romania’s SuperLiga.
Primarily a right-back and a right-footed defender, Antwi’s rise in market value – from €75,000 in 2018 to €500,000 in late 2025 – underlines his development across the Armenian Premier League and Romanian top flight. If a transfer to Beitar Jerusalem does materialise, it could mark the next stage of a career that has steadily progressed through multiple leagues and further test his potential on a new stage.
