Mohamed Salah has revealed that his eldest daughter, Makka, was the happiest about the news of his new contract with Liverpool, which will keep him at the club until 2027.
The Egyptian forward, who has been a key figure for the Reds since joining in 2017, expressed his joy about extending his stay and spoke about the positive impact the decision has had on his family.
Salah emphasized how important it was for him to stay at Liverpool, citing the team’s potential to win more trophies as a major reason for his commitment.

“We have a great team, as it has been in the past years. I chose to stay because I believe we can win more trophies and continue to enjoy my football.”
The new contract extension not only delighted Salah but also brought joy to his family.
“Magi and the children were thrilled with the news,” Salah added, referring to his wife and kids.
“In particular, Makka, our eldest daughter, was the happiest: she has friends here, school, everything. The atmosphere at home was really positive after the signing.”
