Algerian international referee Mustapha Ghorbal has been assigned to oversee the first leg of the African Champions League final between Tunisia’s Esperance and Egypt’s Al Ahly, sources from El Nahar Online revealed on Tuesday.
Ghorbal, renowned for his experience and professionalism, will officiate this crucial encounter. Assisting him will be referees Makran Gourari and Akram Zerhrouni.
Additionally, Libyan referee Muatas Al-Shalmani has been appointed as the fourth official for the match.
Furthermore, Mauritanian referee Dahan Bida has been tasked with leading the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room, supported by Rwandan official Salima Meksonga and Angolan assistant Gerson Dos Santos.
Security arrangements for the match will be overseen by Algerian official Imad-Eddine Mahmedioua.
The first leg of the Champions League final is scheduled to take place on May 18th at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Tunisia, kicking off at 8:00 PM local time.
