Mozambique have announced their 22-man squad for the upcoming international friendly against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.
The encounter forms part of South Africa’s June international window, during which Coach Hugo Broos’ side will play two friendlies against fellow African nations.
Bafana Bafana will first face Tanzania on Friday, 6 June at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
They’ll then host Mozambique four days later on Tuesday, 10 June at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The two nations last met in a friendly in November 2022, with South Africa clinching a 2-1 win courtesy of a brace from Bongokuhle Hlongwane.
Mozambique head coach Chiquinho Conde’s latest squad includes Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove.
However, Atletico Madrid fullback Reinildo Mandava has been left out, as he prepares to represent his club at the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
