MOUSSA SOW: “THIS IS THE REALITY WITH EGYPT AND TUNISIA, THE SENEGAL GROUP IS NOT EASY”

Moussa Sow, the Senegalese Lions striker and recent Turkish champion with Fenerbahce, shared his thoughts on the draw for the CAN 2015 qualifiers in a recent interview with the Senegalese sports daily Stades. He emphasized the tough challenge ahead for Senegal, stating that “Senegal is in a not easy group.”

According to Sow, both Egypt and Tunisia have been formidable opponents in recent years, making the qualification process highly competitive. He believes that all teams are eager to secure a spot in CAN 2015.

Sow expressed the need for Senegal to demonstrate its potential by striving for qualification with determination and proving wrong those who doubt the team’s abilities. He highlighted the importance of unity and resilience, referencing their solid performance against Ivory Coast in the last match of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
