Mouloudia Alger administration issues statement regarding Setif events
The administration of Mouloudia Alger has broken its silence to defend its team regarding the recent events that unfolded during its match against Setif in the 19th round of the professional championship.
In a strongly worded statement, the Mouloudia administration vehemently criticized the refereeing performance during the said match.
They emphasized that the refereeing errors directly influenced the outcome of the game, a fact acknowledged by all experts.
The statement highlighted the goal scored by Setif, which came after an obvious foul.
Despite condemnation and numerous statements, nothing has changed in the past two years.
The Mouloudia administration reiterated its refusal to repeat the scenario of last season when the team lost a qualifying position for continental competition due to serious refereeing errors, which deprived the team of at least ten points.
Furthermore, the administration pointed out that despite leading the league table with the best-attacking record of 35 goals, the team received the fewest penalties.
This injustice was evident in the match against Setif.
The capital club demanded appropriate sanctions against the refereeing team of the Setif match, emphasizing the importance of avoiding such incidents in the future, especially as the championship enters a crucial phase.
They emphasized the necessity of providing suitable conditions for football matches, both for the players on the field and for the supporters, who often face difficulties, especially in certain stadiums that do not offer suitable conditions.
In conclusion, the Mouloudia administration asserted that their demands were not impossible or unreasonable, but rather aimed at ensuring fair conditions similar to those enjoyed by competitors at the 5 July Stadium, where the green field is the only determinant of the final result of the match.
