Mostafa Shobeir, the goalkeeper for the first football team of Al-Ahly Club, has emerged as a candidate for inclusion in the Egyptian national team’s camp led by Hossam Hassan in March.
Shobeir showcased outstanding performances during his appearances for Al-Ahly in the matches against CR Belouizdad and Medeama SC in the CAF Champions League, maintaining a clean sheet in both encounters.
Sources close to “Al-Masry Al-Youm” have revealed that the Egyptian national team coaching staff intends to include Shobeir in the upcoming camp in the UAE following his impressive displays for Al-Ahly and his stellar performance in the recent clash against Medeama SC.
The Egyptian national team is scheduled to enter a closed camp on March 13th in preparation for the upcoming friendly tournament in the UAE, which will take place from March 22nd to March 26th.
The tournament will feature the participation of New Zealand, Croatia, and Tunisia.
