Mory Koné, who was previously with Le Mans, has attracted interest from several clubs after the team’s administrative demotion to the Honorary Division in July. Tracked by Bordeaux, the French player of Ivorian origin is now likely to join Serie A club Parma. According to reports, Koné has met with Parma’s coach Roberto Donadoni, and he is expected to undergo a medical examination on Monday. If the results are positive, the French under-19 international is set to sign a five-year contract with the Italian club. Le Mans is anticipated to receive compensation of 500,000 euros for the transfer, along with possible incentives upon the player’s resale.
