Mortada Mansour, the former president of Zamalek Club, has responded to the decision to strip him of his membership within the White Castle, as part of the resolutions of the council presided over by Hussein Labib.
The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, led by Hussein Labib, announced on Sunday the removal of Mortada Mansour’s membership due to his failure to meet the conditions for active membership, in accordance with Articles 8 and 12 of the club’s bylaws.
In a statement on his official Facebook page, Mortada Mansour remarked: “You will pay the price dearly, and the decision to expel me has been overturned.
It’s not you who decide that you expelled me.”
The decisions of Zamalek’s council included discussions about the behavior of the club’s young football team following a match against Al Ahly, where the council reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to sporting values.
The players were reminded of the club’s policies in this regard, with Hussein El Sayed delegated to enforce the regulations.
Furthermore, the council addressed a complaint against Mortada Ahmed Mansour in his capacity as an active member of the club, resulting in the following decisions:
- Removal of Mortada Ahmed Mansour’s membership due to his failure to meet the conditions for active membership, in accordance with Articles 8 and 12 of the club’s bylaws.
- Signing contracts with the coaching staff of the first football team.
- Signing a new sponsorship contract with United Company, as part of the club’s policy to increase the number of sponsors, in line with the club’s moral and marketing value.
- Contracting with the Tunisian lawyer Sami Bousarsar, specializing in international disputes and cases.
- Signing with American professional basketball player Demarco Dickerson to join the first basketball team.
- Approving the loan of Hisham Salah, a player from the first handball team, to Al Arabi Club in Qatar to participate in the Gulf Cup of Champions.
