Moroccan international Youssef En Nesyri played a pivotal role in Fenerbahce’s 2-1 comeback victory against Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday night.

En Nesyri started the match on the bench but was introduced in the second half and made an immediate impact.

Slavia Prague took an early lead in the 7th minute with Tomas Chory’s goal, but Fenerbahce responded in the 35th minute through Edin Dzeko’s equalizer.

The Moroccan forward sealed the victory for Fenerbahce in the 85th minute, scoring the winning goal to secure the team’s hard-fought 2-1 win.

This result takes Fenerbahce to 15th place in the Europa League standings, keeping their hopes of advancing to the next stage alive.

En Nesyri’s goal marks his third in five Europa League appearances this season, adding to his three goals in 12 Turkish Super Lig matches. The win boosts Fenerbahce’s position in the competition as they continue their push for qualification.
