Morocco winger Zakaria Aboukhlal set to complete Torino switch worth €10m
Morocco international Zakaria Aboukhlal is closing in on a move to Italian Serie A outfit Torino in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old is joining Torino from French Ligue 1 side Toulouse following an agreement between both parties. The winger is expected to join the Italian club on a transfer fee worth €10m.
With his contract expiring next summer, the French outfit has decided to cash in on the Morocco international to avoid losing him for free.
Since joining Toulouse, Aboukhlal netted 20 goals in 76 matches in Ligue 1, establishing himself as a key member of the team.
Having seen an initial bid rejected, Torino improved their offer in their quest to capture the winger. Per reports, both parties are now close to reaching agreement for the transfer of the attacker worth €10m (including bonuses).
Torino and Toulouse are currently finagling details for the transfer of the Morocco international this summer.
Zakaria Aboukhlal has capped 22 times for the Atlas Lions, scoring three goals across the period.
