Giovanni Trapattoni, initially rumored to be the future coach of the Ivory Coast national team after the upcoming World Cup, may now be heading to coach the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
With Morocco set to host the next African Cup of Nations in 2015, negotiations are underway with several coaches for the coaching position. While Hervé Renard’s name has been circulating widely, another possibility has emerged.
According to reports from L’Equipe and Moroccan press, Trapattoni is considering this new challenge, and discussions appear to be progressing positively. Additionally, the names of Pim Verbeek, Marcelo Bielsa, Ruud Gullit, Badou Zaki, and Luis Fernandez have also been mentioned in connection with the coaching position.
