Morocco star Achraf Hakimi will miss Paris Saint-Germain’s game against AS Saint-Étienne this weekend in the French Ligue 1.
PSG will be hosted at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in the Round of 27 games.
However, the Ligue giants announced in an official statement on its X (formerly Twitter) that Hakimi was exempt from participating in group training on Friday.
“Following an agreement between the sports management and the technical staff, it was decided to rest Hakimi today, and the player will return to training on Sunday.”
Hakimi featured in feature against Niger in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers but missed the game against Tanazania due to suspension.
With Hakimi, PSG will be hoping to keep their impressive performance in tact.
