Morocco’s U20 head coach, Mohamed Ouahbi, has confirmed his final 21-man squad for the upcoming FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, scheduled from September 27 to October 19.

Ouahbi unveiled the list during a press conference at the Mohammed VI Football Complex on Friday, revealing the players who will represent the North African nation on the global stage.

The Atlas Cubs face a daunting challenge in Group C, where they have been drawn against Brazil, Mexico, and Spain.

Morocco sealed their World Cup ticket earlier this year after reaching the final of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo.

In preparation, the team has engaged in a series of warm-up friendlies over recent months, including fixtures against the United States and a two-legged encounter with Egypt.

While the U20 AFCON permitted 26-man squads, FIFA regulations restrict World Cup squads to 21 players, a rule Ouahbi says has influenced his final selection.
