Raja Casablanca have ended their recruitment in the current summer transfer window, turning down a move for former Morocco midfielder Fayçal Fajr.
The 37-year-old, who recently had professional experience in La Liga and the Saudi League was in talks to join Raja Casablanca this summer.
Following a lasting negotiations in the past few days, the Morocco giants opted not to sign the experienced midfielder, shutting the door for any new signing.
Africasoccer.com understands that the arrival of defender Ismail El Mokadem from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula closes Raja Casablanca’s summer transfer window, which included 12 players.
The transfer window had begun with team captain Badr Banoun, who chose to return to the club from Qatar.
Raja is currently missing six players due to their participation in the Moroccan CHAN finals.
However, coach Lassaad Chabbi appears to be satisfied with the current squad and will not make any addition to their squad for this season.
Raja Casablanca could bolster their squad in the second transfer window, which opens in January 2026.
