Morocco international attacker Hamza Igamane is close to joining French Ligue 1 outfit Lille in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old in-demand attacker is expected to join Lille as a replacement for Canadian attacker Jonathan David, who recently departed the club at the expiration of his contract.
Igamane enjoyed an amazing season with Scottish giants Rangers FC, making 46 appearances across competitions, scoring 16 goals and delivering six assists.
The forward has been a subject of interest for clubs in England and France, but it appears Lille have won the race to sign him this summer.
The Moroccan attacker has already held a meeting with Lille, agreeing personal terms with the club ahead of his imminent move.
Currently, Lille are in talks with Rangers to finalize a move for the Morocco international attacker.
Rangers reportedly value Igamane at £20 million, a massive return on the £2.5 million they paid FAR Rabat for him last summer. The Scottish club views this as a prime example of their buy-develop-sell strategy.
Igamane still has five years remaining on his current deal, putting Rangers in a strong position to negotiate.
